Zambia National Broadcasting Co-operation (ZNBC) has refused to air the SoD Documentary. They do not seem to understand what "our motive" is. They do not think that people would understand the message. Having spoken to Chileshe Mutale and Chisenga Mumba, they cannot air it because they are not comfortable with the content and title and when asked to put it in writing, Chisenga Mumba stated that ZNBC does not write to customers. However, the Office of the Minister of Information and Broadcasting has been given a copy. The office wanted to know why ZNBC has refused to put its position in writing. The Minister has been left with a copy of the State of Democracy Report and the State of Democracy Video and his office has promised to set up an appointment with FODEP. We are now uploading the documentary online and will also upload an audio clip of our meeting with ZNBC.
